You are the master of your own destiny
You are the master of your life
Let nothing rock your boat
Let nothing ruffle your coat
Life is predictable
It is full of surprises, pleasant and bad
Let nothing make you sad
Do what you can to make it glad
Plow on, plod on, pray on
There will be no end in sight
In future, everything is possible
Look ahead and be accountable
This poem is simply encouraging as you focus in taking control of your destiny, as in directing your ship to your desired destination and not letting it be adrift as the current dictates.
Better still, pray for better control as John Newton did when his ship was hit by a ferocious storm and was about to sink but by his prayer
on his knees, calm returned and he went on to compose the song AMAZING GRACE. Thank you.
