Anger
The source of all discontent
That sends you into a frenzy
And makes others dizzy
The source of all things to come
Words start to fly
The issues, they amplify
Past hurts are hurled
And emotions get stirred
If anger is not further kept at bay
Relationships begin to fray
If anger is not contained
Your image will be forever stained
One can’t see the truth in a fit of anger
Just as one can’t hear one’s potential slander
Anger often leads to regret
But it’s too late as no one will forget
What anger does to the opposite party or to one’s own body
Is Anger Your Constant Companion?
The power of restraint is a good start
Let the power of gentility do its fine art
And the power of thought to pave the way
For tranquility, harmony, and understanding to exist in our weary hearts.
