I never thought I could do it
Those boring monkey bars
How I had wished I could scale them like a ladder
But the force of attraction proved too much for me
One hand off the first bar and I dropped
One day, it occurred to me why they were so aptly named
Think like the monkey, feel like the monkey, move like the monkey
So I began to swing with the persona of one
The swaying became easy like the gentle, cool breeze
Like the rustling of leaves on the branches of trees
Like the rippling grass in the gentle wind
While holding sway over the monkey bars
I uncovered, the power of imagination

Haha, summer lotus, at last you wrote it, your monkey bar experience, although it was long overdue.
Even as you were spurred on by the astonishment on the face of a well built muscular lady who confessed to you, she just couldn’t do it, even as you swing with ease from one end to the other end and then back again.
So while your imagination did help you along , I believe it is your singular focus of your mind and body that allows your energy to be converged onto the bar, one after another, with no distractions of any kind, as you meditated on the swinging monkey image. 👍👍👍
