The world is changing and getting more interesting.
One needs to continue to learn and understand
The ways of this world
Even if it causes me embarrassment
Even if it annoys others who are not patient with me
Even if it stalls the time for the person behind me in the queue
For I either ask, adapt and advance
Or remains befuddled and bewildered
Be patient with myself
I would apologise to others and find out anyway
That’s when I will learn
How a certain system works
I am honing others to be patient
As I becone one iota wiser
For I walk this world alone
I can choose to help others
To find that joy in being patient and kind.
