Dawn

The day refreshes

Everything has gone under the bridge so to speak

One starts afresh on a new page, a new slate, a new beginning 

The air is cool, clear and crisp

My mind is now as light as a whisper

The soft hands of the morning rays

Caress my face and hair

The breeze awakens my soul

Birds chirp happily

Flowers and plants greet us in a myriad hues

Distant traffic starts to hum

It’s a time to stretch and savour

The golden period of the day

That allows for great plans to be hatched

That allows for for much to be attained

That allows for one to be invigorated 

Not one more minute to stay between the sheets

Not one chance to miss the kiss of the morning mist

Not one more moment lost to time

Thank God for the glorious morning 

Every dawn that comes

Brings new hope and aspirations 

Catch the Dawn!

Treat it well.

Take the time to enjoy the morning breeze, bathe in the warmth of the glorious sun and listen to the rustle of the leaves and the birds sing 

Take the time to savor the food before you, aware of the love and kindness of the hands who prepare them 

Take the time to listen to loved ones and good friends for they love you and share the precious moments of camaraderie

Take the time to think about your work, your life, your God for each is a true Blessing and a gift

Take the time to thank for the hiccups of daily life for it stimulates your brain to deal with issues and emerge victorious

Take the time to achieve peace with yourself when things don’t seem right with the world

Time is always a friend. 

It seems like an enemy

As it is limiting what we want to do and achieve 

It marches on with its onslaught 

We should counter it with care and consideration

And make our friend, Time, count

We often look outward and feel displeased

With what’s going on around us

With what’s not meeting our expectations

With what we think should be right and what’s wrong

Meanwhile the world continues to revolve

It has always been constantly changing

But not our views and opinions

Stuck in the die-hard habits of our cultures and upbringings

The disappointment deepens with every generation

Until you look inward into your heart and mind

You cannot change the world or people one iota

Unless one chooses to of one’s accord

Look inward instead into your heart and mind

Your Oasis of Peace

Where Strength and Power resides

To build yourself to be strong

Based on Morality, Empathy and Integrity

That itself can spark Adulation and Change

Not by Force, nor Rules, nor Threat.

At Sapporo

We need courage in everything that we undertake especially if it is unfamiliar to us

Courage to speak up to anything that is done wrong and right it before it spiral downwards

Courage to believe that we can do a task well after we have done our due diligences

Courage to know our flaws and the humility to eliminate them

Courage to believe that things will not turn out as bad as we have imagined.

Even if it does, life goes on as we move forward.

Courage kills fear, it motivates, and it inspires

Begin with self knowledge, do with courage and pursue with grit

Without courage, we will stay where we are.

That moment in time when the snow fell, I saw art in the making and I took a photo 

That moment in time when I tasted a delectable dish, I felt love in the hands that made it and savour the food

That moment in time when something disappointed me, I found humor in its absurdity

That moment in time when I was challenged, I saw opportunity to stay calm and overcome it

That moment in time when I felt triggered, I found strength to hold my peace

That moment in time is momentous

Life’s  moments can be poetry in action, they can be solutions in sight, and they can make you a better person 

Life’s moments build awareness, perspective and inner power.

Treasure each moment

A little more understanding

A little more love

A little bit of humility

And you get what you deserve

People are blinded by how they feel

It’s their feelings that are hurt

Even if they are wrong

In their hearts, there is always a happy song

It’s not for you to ruin it

Nor for you to expose it

You will always be countered

So it’s best that they are discounted

No more arguments

No more fights

Truth eventually will surface

You will finally know who’s right

But the one who is wrong

Still stands firm on his ground

Such is the essence of human nature

So don’t go round and round
