What does one do when caught in a web of conflict?

Usually, it’s all a misunderstanding

It is best to have an open discussion

Who is hurt by what is said

Turns out to be unintentional comments but with a purpose

Not to hurt but to heal

But misconstrued otherwise

Step back, take a breather, review the comments

Humans are sensitive, sentient and sensible beings

Rationalize, respond and retreat

Let time moderate the situation

Everything becomes good.

Don’t live in Someone’s world

We were meant to be

alone and free

Live life with few regrets

In the end, everyone forgets

The troubles, difficulty, and strife

They meant to make us feel alive

They make us strong, steady, and sane

Everyday events would wax and wane

They could give you gain or pain

Regardless, each day shines bright

If you would only focus on the light

of possibility, positivity, and potential

Don’t live in Someone’s world

whose thoughts bring no pity

To a matter that has a remedy

It does not matter whatever and however you try.

Time is relentless

Like the swaying branches that couldn’t still

As the winds would not cease to blow

Time is continuous

Like. the flowing river that ends in the sea

As dictated by gravity

Time is everlasting

Like the sunrise and sunset

As Mother Earth dances around the sun

But not Life

When the time comes to appreciate someone

He or she is no longer there.

Seize Time !

You must realize by now

that peace has always been there

Inside of you, it has always existed

But humans chose to believe otherwise

That the wrong was done by others instead

That causes your peace to dissipate

It’s due to the way you perceived it

If it’s your mistake, just admit it

Accept others for their views

You may rebut but don’t expect them to be accepted

Air your thoughts but don’t insist on it

Let others mull over and you may just wing it.

Wrote a poem today, inspired when 64 becomes me.

Ah, the bane of aging

Sometimes l feel the flicker of my wick

As it waxes and wanes

About to be extinguished by fatigue, worry, and activity

Ah, the boon of aging

Many times, I am able to overcome all negativity

By wisdom, endurance, and humor

Yes, I would rant on, rave on, and rage on

Till the flame dims.

Let me count the ways….

It is a mind that sees the positive in every negative circumstance

It is a mind that expects the best of every situation

It is a mind that accepts fate if it is so

It is a mind that can endure all imaginings

It is a mind that will always draw good outcomes

It is a mind that is kind and brave

It is a mind that overcomes adversity

It is a mind that thinks critically and carefully

It is a mind that knows when to rest and when to let go.

It is a strong mind that will enable you to love purposefully and happily.
